The Opportunity

As a Senior Service Product Specialist, you’ll be a key player in shaping service strategies that extend the life and performance of high-voltage systems, including Generator Circuit Breakers (GCBs). This is more than a technical role—it’s a strategic opportunity to influence how energy is delivered across the globe.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service offerings, support lifecycle management, and deliver training that empowers both internal teams and customers. Your insights will help define product characteristics, guide go-to-market strategies, and ensure our solutions meet evolving customer needs. Whether you're in the field, at a trade show, or working with engineering and sales, your work will directly impact the reliability of the grid and the satisfaction of our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Provide expert support on GCB service and product-related matters
Deliver training on new products and services to internal teams and customers
Maintain and validate customer installed base data
Recommend service strategies to extend equipment lifecycle
Collaborate on training programs and sales initiatives
Support field visits and customer inquiries
Contribute to go-to-market strategies and value propositions
Represent the service business at trade shows and industry events
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 8 years in service operations, engineering, or technical sales
Proven expertise in medium or high voltage equipment and systems
Strong understanding of power systems and generation industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and build strong relationships
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
