"Solar Engineering, Repairs, and Upgrades, Made to Order"
GreenLancer is a Detroit-based solar energy company focused on removing the bottlenecks that slow down permitting, deployment, repairs, and long-term system performance. We support contractors, homeowners, and solar financiers with fast, reliable engineering and field service support to keep projects moving and solar systems producing.
We’re a small team that moves fast. Many of us work hybrid, spending part of the week collaborating from our Detroit headquarters and the rest working remotely. We keep priorities clear, work closely as a team, and protect work-life balance while still getting the important work done.
Our online platform helps contractors get standardized, high-quality permit design and engineering support for solar, EV charging, and telecom—delivered with speed, scale, and reliability. Our in-house support team reduces revision cycles and keeps jobs on track. We also provide solar repairs and upgrades for homeowners, including those dealing with orphaned systems after their original installer shut down.

We’re growing and looking for driven self-starters who want to build the support system that clean energy needs to thrive. You may wear a few hats at times, but we don’t expect you to carry an unrealistic load. We believe in working smarter, staying aligned, and maintaining a steady pace.
Since 2013, GreenLancer has supported 7,500+ contractors across 200,000+ clean energy projects, helping deploy $2.5B+ in solar systems nationwide — and we’re expanding our reach through engineering, repairs, and upgrades that help solar systems, new or existing, reach their full potential.
