About the Content Writing Intern

Remote / Part-time
Rate: $18/hr

We are looking for a marketing intern to help support the Purpose Jobs marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of Content and Community to contribute to content marketing, social media, SEO research and more. Someone who is a strong writer, a creative thinker, and willing to learn will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing blog posts, articles, webpages and newsletters
  • Staging blog posts on our CMS (Hubspot)
  • Writing, posting and managing comments on social media
  • Video editing
  • Graphic design in Canva
  • Content research

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and great proofreading skills
  • Background in marketing, journalism, writing, communications, or currently pursuing a degree in one of those fields
  • Eager to learn about many different aspects of marketing

Nice-to-haves:

  • Professional social media experience
  • Video editing skills
  • Experience with a CMS
  • Interest in startups, especially in emerging tech hubs
  • Understanding of/wants to learn how to leverage AI
