LightSpeed Automation, a 365 Retail Markets Company, is seeking a high energy team member to handle the role of Implementation Specialist. This role will focus on building trusted relationships with clients and fellow employees.

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the successful installation of LightSpeed systems in the client’s operation. Not only are you the face of LightSpeed throughout installation process but you will also provide the initial training while on site and support Client Success post installation.

The position requires travel 2-3 weeks per month (expenses paid) and there is some international travel. A passport will be required upon employment. If you enjoy seeing the country and certain parts of the world, have a strong technical background in low voltage components, and a thorough understanding of how to configure a Windows Server, this is the perfect job for you.

Responsibilities

Perform the standard installation duties for assigned installs, including:

  • Contact client to review statement of work
  • Inform client of pre-requisites for successful implementation
  • Book personal travel
  • Perform or confirm staging & shipping of related equipment
  • Update client info in CRM, including logging serial numbers for supplied equipment
  • Complete installation
  • Train client on system and administration
  • Provide go live support before departing
  • Upload install photos to the client file in CRM
  • Turn in expense reports in a timely fashion to facilitate billing
  • Follow up with client to confirm satisfaction

As well as:

  • Stage and ship house orders
  • Stage and ship RMA’s
  • Receive equipment shipments and put away in the proper storage locations
  • Perform regular inventories of equipment
  • Assist with inbound support requests when all other implementation tasks are complete and / or during times of high call volume
Requirements
  • High School diploma or Associate Degree preferred
  • Previous IT and project management experience preferred
  • A working knowledge of MS SQL is a plus
  • Must be proficient in the use of hand & power tools for on site installations
  • Knowledge of basic networking principles (IP addressing -Static/Dynamic)
  • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Access Point and Wi-Fi Printer installation/configuration
  • Experience in prioritizing work and multi-tasking - Strong sense of urgency
  • Must be familiar with Apple products (i.e. Apple iPad's)
  • Must have a basic understanding on the functionality of Mobile devices (IOS and Android)
  • Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Must possess a valid passport
  • Ability to lift 25-150lb
