We are seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in writing code across multiple programming languages and systems to manage the extraction and loading of data within our system using ETL processes and API’s. Proficiency with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust data services and solutions that underpin our business operations and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain robust data services and applications using Python, Java, and .NET.

· Manage the extraction of data or loading of data in MySQL, SQL Server, and Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and performance.

· Develop and deploy ETL processes to gather, transform, and load data from various sources.

· Work with Big Data technologies like BigQuery and Kafka to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.

· Design and implement data models and cubes using SSAS.

· Develop and maintain data pipelines for seamless data integration and transformation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that support business goals.

· Create and maintain data visualizations and reports using Power BI or similar tools.

· Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of data services.

· Continuously improve existing systems and processes to enhance performance and scalability.

· Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and software development.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a Data Services Software Engineer or similar role.

· Strong programming skills in Python and Java.

· Proficiency in database management with MySQL, SQL Server, and Snowflake.

· Experience with SSAS for data modeling and analysis.

· Knowledge of Big Data technologies and frameworks such as BigQuery.

· Experience with data streaming platforms like Kafka.

· Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

· Experience with .NET framework is a plus.

· Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).

· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

· Understanding of machine learning and data science concepts.

· Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
