The Staff Accountant, Services will be a cross-functional role supporting the broader Finance & Accounting function, as well as working directly with the operations and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong accounting and systems experience that can work effectively with individuals across the various levels of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Month End Close – prepare and post journal entries as part of the Services accounting team to ensure financial records are properly stated in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); prepare and/or review contractor accrual; partner with Finance team on monthly entries
- Company Rebates and Marketing Development Funds – partner with the Strategic Alliances and Marketing teams to ensure accurate accruals at month end; review aged balances and assist with collection; manage process to accurately code cash receipts for Rebates and MDF
- Analysis and Support – prepare monthly reconciliation of unbilled/deferred revenue balances; take action on balances, which many include partnership with members of the Invoicing, Project Management, and Operations teams
- Ad Hoc Projects – work with broader accounting and finance function to assist with and enhance other processes as needed; perform and develop ad-hoc analysis and reporting to inform business decisions; participate in and drive process improvements; assist with external audit requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting preferred
- Prior relevant experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, desire to learn processes from beginning to end
- Knowledge of and experience with financial reporting systems; preferably SalesForce and NetSuite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in hands on capacity
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and schedules
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently to solve problems and escalate issues with recommended actions

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
