Location

Based out of HQ - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA (Hybrid role, 3 days a week in office)

About the Role

The Business Systems Manager is an IT professional that works with internal and external stakeholders to understand, document, facilitate, and configure business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand, document, facilitate, and configure business systems and process improvements to support business operations.

  • Serve as the business systems consultant and represent stakeholders with other areas of the business in order to maintain or implement the business system. Acts as main point of contact for support in lieu of client navigating on their own. Configures business systems based on user needs.

  • Project manages business system changes giving leadership updated project statuses. Determines roadblocks and works with leadership as needed to remove them.

  • Build a strong understanding of integrations between assigned business tools and the overall ecosystem.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on user access, roles, user acceptance testing, release cycle, and production support as needed by teams.

  • Make recommendations for changes, processes, and setup based on operational needs.

  • Develop business process expertise; prioritize changes that strike a balance between strategic objectives and tactical needs.

  • Take directives based on leadership requests and balances actions based on what is considered priority for mid-sized projects.

  • Responsible for providing training and change management leadership to user groups as needed on process and tool changes.

  • Create resource documentation for the tool with release notes and manages training for medium-sized projects. Collaborates with implementation partners on larger sized projects.

  • Support and execute project plans.

Who You Are

  • Working knowledge of Corporate Business Systems and Partner Relationship Tools (i.e., CRM, Marketing Automation, PRM, CMS, and ERP tools)

  • Working knowledge of Business Operations practices (i.e., Quote to Cash, Sales, and Marketing Demand Generation)

  • Ingenuity to find solutions that bridge the gap between system constraints and business need

  • Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills

  • Effective communicator with technical peers and non-technical stakeholders

  • Good foundational skills in project management

  • Aptitude for learning many areas of the business and ability to understand user requirements, and ability to bridge the gap between system constraints and business need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Business Systems and Administration

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • SaaS / High Tech industry experience preferred

  • Cybersecurity industry experience a plus

  • Prior experience building and supporting a hyper-growth business in a distributed environment
