Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for an Aurora Endpoint Security Engineer 2 to be part of making that happen.

About the Role:

The Aurora Endpoint Security Engineer 2 supports the deployment and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions for Aurora Endpoint clients. This early-career role works closely to help clients adopt and use Aurora Endpoint Security technologies effectively. The role provides a strong foundation in cybersecurity operations through hands-on learning and collaborative problem-solving.

Serving as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, leading deployment engagements, facilitating threat response, and ensuring customers realize the full value of Aurora’s security platform. This job functions in a dynamic and collaborative setting, influencing product direction, and elevating customer outcomes.

As an Aurora Endpoint Security Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the implementation, integration, and optimization of Aurora Protect and Aurora Focus solutions, ensuring alignment with customer security policies and operational needs.
  • Serve as a primary technical advisor and escalation point for customers, guiding them through implementation activities.
  • Help with initial setup and tuning of security rules to support threat detection with supervision.
  • Monitor system health dashboards and notify senior team members of any irregularities or issues.
  • Contribute to basic scripting tasks or template editing using existing tools (Python, PowerShell).
  • Help maintain documentation such as user guides, setup checklists, and FAQs.
  • Communicate observations or feedback from clients to project leads and participate in team learning sessions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including roles such as Security Consultant, Security Engineer, SOC Analyst, or Endpoint Security Administrator.
  • Based in either Eastern or Central time zone
  • Basic understanding of endpoint security tools and threat detection concepts
  • Exposure to scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell); comfortable learning to modify and run scripts.
  • Familiarity with general cybersecurity principles and terminology.
  • Strong desire to learn, take direction, and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
