Our mission is simple: End Cyber Risk. We’re looking for an Account Executive in Japan to be part of making that happen.

Arctic Wolf Networks is seeking a motivated, flexible, and proven technology sales leader and professional to join our corporate sales team in Japan. The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in driving both new customer acquisition and the retention and expansion of existing customers, serving as a key contributor to our rapid growth. Working closely with the SE, Channel, Field Events, Customer Success, and Sales Development teams, you will be responsible and accountable for achieving sales targets within your assigned territory. As a member of Arctic Wolf Japan, you will embody integrity, energy, collaboration, and intelligence, representing our team, culture, and services daily to partners, prospects, and customers.

Location: Must be physically located in Japan

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for both acquiring new customers and retaining and expanding existing customers within your assigned territory
  • Ensure achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets through detailed and professional sales activities using a solid, measurable sales process
  • Leverage internal security tools, communication tools, and CRM tools to enhance personal efficiency and productivity while providing the organization with accurate business and customer information
  • Leverage deep expertise and product knowledge to understand competitive offerings and differentiators, focus on customer requirements and outcomes, and drive effective deal qualification and renewal/expansion with existing customers
  • Act as a key person building strong trust relationships with prospects and as the team's central hub driving the sales process
  • Support the discovery, establishment, management, and expansion of new business partnerships within the reseller and ecosystem community, driving pipeline development and leveraging relationships for competitive advantage
  • Leverage personal networks and business partnerships to generate net new leads for the assigned territory
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop short- and long-term regional strategic plans
  • Continuously strengthen collaboration with the Pre-Sales Engineering department to build a consistent sales process and customer experience
  • Collaborate with channel resources to ensure strategic partner success and strengthen channel relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by actively listening to customer needs, serving as their internal advocate, and influencing product and service improvements.
  • Propose additional Arctic Wolf services aligned with customer needs, identifying and executing upsell opportunities.
  • Manage a high volume of customer requests and initiatives, effectively prioritizing, resolving issues in a timely manner, and guiding customers toward best practice solutions.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems, or a combination of equivalent education and experience. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven sales or account management experience in technology, specifically cybersecurity or related fields.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong proficiency with technology, spreadsheets, and CRM.
  • Commitment to continuous sales skill development, customer service, and follow-up.
  • Ability to adapt flexibly in a rapidly changing environment is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal groups.
  • Proven track record of effectively translating and communicating key technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High level of initiative, proactivity, positive attitude, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and understand English documents and emails, participate in online meetings with overseas members in English, and communicate via chat.
