We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to spearhead the expansion of our mortgage team. Successful Ascendum Directors and Senior Directors tend to have 5-8 years of sales experience with an existing network. In this pivotal role, you’ll not only lead sales strategies but also shape the future of our offerings, working alongside forward-thinking teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower clients and fuel our growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Driving sales growth by developing strategic relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective campaigns, analyze market trends, and provide guidance to junior sales staff to optimize performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Enhancing market feedback by incorporating insights from clients and influencers within the mortgage industry ecosystem.
  • Partnership with clients to ensure market feedback is integrated into products and strategies.
  • Strategic leadership in the mortgage segment, driving sales production, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing strategies to meet financial targets.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth, up to $3+ million in revenue.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Business-to-Business sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel based on business and client needs (~25-50%), includes overnight travel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Regulatory compliance experience with a solid understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Exposure to operations within underwriting and servicing.
