What You’ll Do
Ascent Global Logistics is building a dedicated Integrations Team to strengthen how our systems and partners connect across the business. The Integrations Manager will lead this new team, overseeing the strategy, delivery, and governance of system-to-system integrations across our technology stack—including APT, CargoWise, OTM, and our SCMS control tower platform.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both technical and organizational skill—someone who can shape standards, coach engineers, and partner across departments to deliver reliable, scalable integrations that support our growing logistics network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of integration engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 - Own the integration roadmap and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data, and application strategies.
 - Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of integrations between internal systems (APT, SCMS, MDM, OTM, CargoWise) and external partners using modern tools such as MuleSoft and API-based frameworks.
 - Establish and enforce integration development standards, governance, and documentation practices.
 - Collaborate closely with business and product teams to prioritize and deliver integration projects that enable business outcomes.
 - Partner with Enterprise Architecture to evolve API strategy, event-driven patterns, and data synchronization frameworks.
 - Track performance metrics, maintain visibility into project health, and ensure integrations meet SLAs for reliability and uptime.
 - Support transition away from legacy EDI/XML integrations toward modern, secure, API-based solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering or integration development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of integration platforms and technologies (MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, REST APIs, webhooks, message queues, etc.).

- Integrations mapping: Experience with data mapping, transformation, and orchestration across enterprise systems.

- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven success leading cross-functional initiatives.
 - Ownership: Strong sense of ownership and a pragmatic approach to solving technical and operational challenges.
