Astrobotic is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This position will report to the Controller as part of the finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Posting accounts payable transactions using accounting software
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
• Analyzing workflow processes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Processing due invoices for payments
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum HS Diploma and 5 years accounts payable experience
• Basic data entry skills
• Comfortable with math and calculations
• Good listening and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting with 2 years of experience
• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint
• Experience in a government contractor role.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and the candidates professional experience. Base salary is just one component of Astrobotic’s competitive total rewards strategy.
