Sales Operations Analyst Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:
This Sales Operations Analyst Intern will have responsibilities in key areas such as sales analytics, reporting, customer mapping, and data visualizations. The Sales Operations Analyst Intern will also be responsible for providing strategic insight to both the field sales force and sales leadership team specific to the business KPI’s. The ideal candidate must have strong Excel skills, analytical abilities, and critical thinking skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Ensure timely and accurate collection, analysis, formatting, and management of sales data
- Execute daily sales operations reports on time with accurate data and formatting
- Review and analyze data within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Excel to improve data integrity
- Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements
- Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc.
- Interpret data, analyze results, and provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities
- Identify and define both process gaps and potential improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Analytics, Finance or closely related discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint and the use of sales data reporting tools. SQL or data query language skill or experience is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Must possess the ability to work with confidential reports and information with complete discretion
- Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels within the organization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in quantitative field of study
- Sales operations experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
