• Referral Intake: Conduct initial patient intake, collecting necessary information such as medical history, insurance details, and reason for referral.
• Records Management: Create, update, and maintain patient health records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all referral activities.
• Data Entry: Enter patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems, including medical history, treatments, and test results.
• Privacy and Security: Protect the confidentiality and security of patient health information, adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Information Requests: Respond to requests for medical records from healthcare providers, patients, insurance companies, and legal entities, ensuring proper authorization is obtained.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to intake and referrals promptly.
