We are seeking an experienced Desktop Analyst reporting directly to the Head of IT. This position will be responsible for helpdesk and desktop support functions. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT analyst with hands-on experience with onboarding new employees, offboarding users, provisioning account access, and IT troubleshooting. This position requires the candidate to be in the office at least (3) days per week in our Mountain View headquarters.

As a Desktop Analyst, you’ll get to:

  • Lead and manage new employee onboarding and employee offboarding
  • Lead new hire IT orientation and getting new hires set up for their accounts
  • Assist employees with access requests to applications
  • Troubleshoot general IT issues such as applications, integrations, and hardware problems
  • Provision IT accounts for enterprise applications such as Okta, Google, JIRA, Slack
  • Work closely with Security and Engineering teams on application integrations and customizations
  • Track and manage endpoint devices and update asset tracking databases
  • Configure and manage IT systems, and infrastructure and endpoints
  • Configure and troubleshoot network issues such as wired and wireless
  • Set up and configure audio/video for in-person meetings and conferences

You’ll be a good fit if you have:

  • Hands-on experience with Apple Macbooks, Jamf, Slack, Google Workspaces, Okta, JIRA, and Zoom
  • Basic troubleshooting software and hardware issues including Zoom Rooms, SaaS applications, and Macbooks
  • Previous experience with new hire IT orientation and onboarding
  • At least 2 + years of experience in IT Helpdesk Analyst, Desktop Analyst, or IT Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline
  • Past experience supporting an enterprise IT environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

  • Knowledge or experience with deep linking technologies.
  • Experience or knowledge of Power Shell scripting
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, and other certifications

This role is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday) in person at the Mountain View Office. This role is not eligible for remote work. The contract is for 3 months with the possibility of conversion to Full Time dependent on performance.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role: the estimated pay range for this role, if based in Mountain View, California, is $40.00 - 50.00 per hour

Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Mountain View, California only. Compensation for candidates outside of Mountain View, California will be based on the candidate’s specific work location.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above.

This is a contract role and the successful candidate will be employed by a 3rd party employer of record who will provide benefits based on their independent benefits plan. Contract roles do not qualify for equity.

The salary range provided represents base compensation and does not include potential equity, which is available for qualifying positions.
