CBTS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure, with a focus on Azure infrastructure, app deployment and data storage environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative solutions that align with business requirements.
Essential Functions:
· Design and implement Microsoft cloud solutions, specifically focusing on scalable, reliable, and cost-effective Microsoft Azure cloud solutions to meet the client's business needs and technical requirements.
· Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure architecture, including Azure virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, and resource groups.
· Architect and optimize Azure networking components, including load balancers, virtual network gateways, and VPN connections.
· Facilitate the deployment of applications and Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Kubernetes Service and Azure Active Directory integration.
· Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, and other relevant Azure data services.
· Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with Azure services.
· Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring efficient resource utilization and optimal system performance.
· Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure-based systems.
· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Azure cloud technologies.
· Maintain detailed documentation of Azure configurations and processes.

Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses:
· Recent Microsoft certifications
8 to 10 years in related field
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven experience working as an Azure Cloud Engineer or Cloud Solutions Architect.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, infrastructure components, and networking concepts.
- Experience with cloud migration, hybrid cloud solutions, and multi-cloud architectures
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in an Azure environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and experience implementing security controls in Azure.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
