Job Purpose:
We are looking for a results-driven Core Services Sales Executive to expand our presence by uncovering and developing new business opportunities within our strategic customer base. The ideal candidate will be proactive, take initiative, and collaborate closely with account teams to identify and drive new opportunities across our core product portfolio. In this critical role, you will play a key part in business growth by working alongside account executives to deepen engagement with strategic customers. Leveraging your technical expertise and consultative approach, you will align with customer technology goals, shape their strategic direction, and deliver impactful solutions.
Essential Functions
· Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with account teams and serve as a key leader in the sales process, working closely with account executives to expand opportunities within strategic customer accounts and drive business growth.
· Technical Influence: Participate in sales and pre-sales processes to understand customer technology objectives and influence their strategic direction while collaborating closely with Solutions Engineers and Product SME’s.
· Expert Consulting: Provide expert consulting to CBTS clients across a broad range of technologies, including digital workplace, secure networking, managed service platforms, application development, and Microsoft architectures.
· Solution Development & Presentation: Help develop and present solutions that align with customer technology strategies, ensuring they are practical, deliverable, competitive, and market-leading.
· Value Proposition Communication: Effectively communicate CBTS’s value proposition to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives.
· Service Expertise: Maintain expertise in CBTS service offerings, value propositions, and success stories to effectively support sales initiatives.
Education
· Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Certifications, Accreditations, Licenses
· Technical certifications for IT related services preferred
Experience
· 3-6 Years
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Considerable experience leading client engagement at an enterprise account level.
· Proven track record in identifying new leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales to new customers consistently meeting or exceeding assigned quota.
· Strong understanding and working knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure and networking technologies.
