Your Impact
CHAMP is seeking an Integration Engineer with proven client-facing experience to design, build, and support scalable integrations across enterprise systems. As Lead Integration Engineer, you will lead a team to discover and implement solutions in concert with the product development teams, collaborating directly with clients to scope, plan, and execute projects. This is a highly interactive role that requires the skills of a team player who can write quality code to solve technical challenges and collaborate with external stakeholders to deliver business outcomes. You will need to be willing to learn quickly, growing your understanding of our architecture, product landscape, and the business context. What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Integrate with third-party systems (e.g., SaaS platforms, internal enterprise systems, APIs)
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across distributed systems
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for scalability and performance
- Ensure high-quality code through testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
- Provide technical guidance and support during client onboarding and implementation phases
- Proactive, resilient, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences, software engineering, information sciences, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with strong integration experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON/XML
- Proven client-facing or customer-facing experience
- Experience with integration patterns (messaging, ETL, API gateways)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset and accountability
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and client-facing environments
- Adaptable and responsive in fast-paced, project-driven settings

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually. This is a good faith estimate, and final compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
