Role Overview:
The Director, Network Growth will be pivotal in driving the growth, adoption, experience, and engagement of our Prior Authorization (PA) and Provider Network. This role will focus on several key growth areas, including:
- NPI (National Provider Identifier) Growth
- Specific Therapeutic Area Growth; retail and specialty providers/prescribers
- Patient Service Enrollment Growth
- Adoption of new CoverMyMeds product features in the Provider space
- Commercialization, adoption, and growth of our new product in development stages, the Universal Starting Platform
Key Responsibilities:
Provider Network Growth:
- New Provider Growth: Drive growth through a dedicated sales team, focused on CoverMyMeds’ Portal, Health Systems, EHRs, Strategic Provider Partners, and Digital Health Partners.
- Organic Growth and Provider Penetration/Expansion: In close partnership with Customer Success, Marketing, Data & Analytics, Product, and others – ensure adoption, experience, and engagement through targeted efforts, user engagement tracking, and relationship-driven training/onboarding with health systems, EHRs, and strategic partners.
Industry and Customer Events / Tradeshows/Advisory Board:
- Partner with Marketing to design a thoughtful, high-ROI approach to tradeshow execution.
- With the Sales team, represent CoverMyMeds in the Provider market for key customer events and tradeshows, driving awareness and demand generation for CoverMyMeds’ products and services.
- Work cross-functionally to develop and engage customer advisory board.
New Product and Feature Launch:
- Readiness and execution of new products and features: Partner closely with Product and Marketing to build and maintain robust plans, including sales team readiness, training, and clear go-to-market prioritization and approach.
- Launch, adoption, and user engagement for the Universal Starting Platform: Partner closely with Product and Marketing, while systematically driving the beta-to MVP-to general availability process for the Universal Starting Platform.
Sales Operational Efficiency:
- Enhance, implement, and standardize sales processes and policies for current and future products.
- Includes pipeline management and reporting, leveraging CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Regularly interact with senior management and executives on matters concerning the growth of CoverMyMeds’ network.
- Make cross-functional recommendations for growth levers and mitigation strategies to continue customer growth trajectories with CoverMyMeds.
- Enhance, design, and launch a refined SIP plan to drive future growth needs and ensure aligned incentives; Based on the needs of the business and new product launches, design a SIP plan that drives customer value, CoverMyMeds’ growth, and the right behaviors to win long-term in the market.
- Migrate current SIP processes to the McKesson SIP Center of Excellence, and manage the ongoing, entire, end-to-end SIP plan process and experience.
People Leadership:
- Foster a culture in total alignment with I2CARE and ILEAD values.

- Provide mentorship to help others make well-informed, balanced strategic decisions ensuring the long-term health of the network.
- Informally lead other functions, leveraging debate, decide, commit / enterprise-first / open and candid winning behaviors.
- Make data-based recommendations and decisions, while ensuring the right internal partners are consulted and informed.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in healthcare / healthcare technology.
- 10+ years in business development and/or sales roles focused on creating win-wins for stakeholders.
- MBA preferred.
- Strong analytical, scientific, and data-based decision-making skills.
- Pragmatic approach with a focus on execution and results.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership.
- Experience with EHR integration and healthcare technology standards.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving significant growth.
- Strategic planning and execution experience.
- Team management experience, including remote teams.
Location:
This position is based in Columbus, OH (may consider remote work or hybrid options depending on initial candidate pool).

We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Total Target Cash (TTC) Pay Range for this position:
$161,300 - $268,800Total Target Cash (TTC) is defined as base pay plus target incentive.
