Internship Overview
We’re looking for a curious, driven, and detail-oriented Product Marketing & SEO Intern to help grow our digital footprint, shape user narratives, and optimize content for discovery. You’ll work closely with the founder and collaborate across product, content, and growth to help bring the Digital Reference story to life—across search engines and screens.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct keyword research and develop SEO-informed content strategies
- Optimize existing blog and landing page content for improved search visibility
- Support go-to-market messaging and product positioning efforts
- Analyze traffic patterns, engagement metrics, and search rankings
- Help draft blog posts, web copy, and structured prompts for video content
- Collaborate on experiments and A/B tests related to growth
- Explore emerging AI tools that enhance content creation and discoverability
What You’ll Learn
- How early-stage startups build product-market fit and brand voice
- Real-world application of SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and ChatGPT
- How to align content, search strategy, and user experience
- The basics of product-led growth and narrative marketing
- The role of reputation in the modern talent economy
Ideal Qualifications
- Interest in marketing, communications, business, or UX
- Familiarity with basic SEO concepts (or excitement to learn fast)
- Clear written communication and a curiosity about how people discover and evaluate ideas online
- Comfortable with experimentation and ambiguity in a startup environment
- Bonus: experience with blogging platforms, analytics tools, or generative AI
Internship Details
- Unpaid (course credit or project-based experience if available)
- Part-time, ~10-20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling, remote but occasional in-person meetings
