Type: Hybrid

Office Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Salary Range: $90,000-$110,000

We are looking for a skilled Director of Marketing to play a foundational role on our team, building and executing marketing programs and strategic initiatives from the ground up, with a strong focus on content creation and lead generation through digital marketing channels.

In this role, you will partner closely with our Sales Team. Through customer data, research, and analysis, you’ll develop a deep knowledge of how companies and people adopt our software, and in turn, advise on and own programs to improve and accelerate this adoption. A successful candidate will be value-focused, analytical, and excited about the opportunity to help more individuals and organizations adopt our technology.

This high-impact role will have considerable influence on our company’s success. Reporting to our CEO, you will wear many hats, and this is a role that requires hard and soft skills to be successful.

You may be a good fit for this role if:

  • Intimately understanding your ICP and how to engage them is something you can’t seem to move on from.
  • You feel strongly that good stories should be told, and that a software solution that helps kids to be safer while away from home sounds like a great story.
  • Creativity in your job is a must-have and the intersection of graphics, written word, digital and in-person marketing gets the wheels in your imagination spinning.
  • You’re a bit intense about details - typos and grammatical errors don’t fly with you and the margins in your emails and line spacing bothers you when slightly off.
  • Marketing automation through Hubspot is like second nature to you.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy of all out-of-product touch points and implement multi-channel campaigns with a focus on digital strategy and lead conversion
  • Own day-to-day coordination of marketing campaigns (e.g. planning, building, scheduling, execution)
  • Manage and oversee multiple digital marketing channels and maintain an ongoing optimization strategy to leverage those channels for success
  • Understand and articulate buyer’s journey in the context of lead gen campaigns
  • Prepare and manage marketing budget
  • Lead and continue to build a hardworking and diverse marketing team
  • Create and actively monitor campaign analytics, report on campaign performance, and track and monitor conversion to further optimize success
  • Assist and participate in conference/trade-show selections, sponsorship, presentations, and travel arrangements
  • Partner with Sales to create programs that identify and nurture high-potential leads and prospects
  • Develop a deep understanding of current and potential customer segments and identify key growth initiatives to increase our customer base and their lifetime value
  • Oversee the company's social media strategy and execution
  • Utilize project management skills and experience in planning, development, and forecasting to inform the growth strategy of DocNetwork

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS marketing
  • Significant experience leading a successful team
  • Experience developing and executing B2B digital marketing programs (e.g. SEO, paid search, display, paid social, content syndication, web, email) to drive conversions and sales pipeline
  • Strong initiative and a proactive mindset
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Skilled with time management; possessing the ability to manage multiple competing projects at various levels of scale
  • Analytical mentality and a data-informed approach
  • A customer-first attitude with a passion for storytelling

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with enterprise marketing
  • Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot

Excited? We can’t wait to hear from you!

If you like what you’ve seen so far, we feel compelled to boast that:

  • We’re 8x recipients of SPARK’s FastTrack Award.
  • We have an office dog named Munki. He is soft and little.
  • Our office pantry is stocked with delicious snacks.
  • We made our boss a Paper Plate Award that says “You’re pretty cool” and it has frog stickers on it.

So throw your hat in the ring – we’d love to meet you!
