As an Account Solutions Engineer, you will focus on understanding customers’ business drivers, goals and challenges and translate them into a differentiating value-added technical architectural roadmap based upon Cisco’s leading-edge solutions. Together with your colleagues, you will help in making this roadmap a reality by bringing Cisco’s Secure Networking Platform strategy to life and deliver Cisco solutions to help customers transform to AI-ready Datacenters, Future-Proofed Workplaces and making them more Digital Resilient.

Your Impact:

  • Focus on Top Belgian Enterprise customers.
  • Understand the business drivers, goals and challenges of our leading Enterprise customers and translate them into a differentiating value-added technical architectural roadmap based upon Cisco’s leading-edge solutions.
  • Bring the Architectural roadmap to life by translating it into a Cisco Secure Networking Platform strategy enabling AI-Ready Datacenters, Future-Proofed Workplaces and increased Digital Resiliency.
  • Be on the first row to participate in the transformation of our customers towards increased Automation and Insights through AI, and delivering them the critical infrastructure for the AI era.
  • Provide differentiating technical solutions to high touch customers and partners, and deliver them in a commercial, convincing and differentiating way.
  • Stay up to date with the latest innovations, both from Cisco as well as from the whole market, in order to translate this into guidance and expertise towards customers and Cisco partners.
  • Understand and articulate Cisco’s vision and strategy in your areas of expertise.
  • Succeed trough teaming with Account Managers, Sales Specialist, Solutions Engineers and Services Specialists as well as technical leaders and top experts from the Business Units.
  • Be part of a vibrant worldwide community of experts, in touch with the ongoing innovation.
  • Actively develop and work with our partners to make them and us successful.
  • Support the country sales plan and execute the sales strategy, and based on that, define your own plan for your solution to achieve your sales goals.

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum BA degree in an engineering field or equivalent.
  • Technical background with the ability to translate complex solutions into differentiating and outcome-based added-value to customers.
  • Ability to define an architectural roadmap and a technical solutions go-to-market strategy.
  • Demonstrable successful experience in area’s of expertise such as Secure Networking.
  • Experience in delivering of engaging technical sales presentations.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Dutch and French.
  • Driver’s license valid for Belgium.


Preferred qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of competitors and ability to apply competing successful technical sales strategies.
  • High technological savviness, combined with commercial skills to translate complex concepts into added value and differentiating solutions to our customers and partners.
  • Negotiation skills to craft solutions that are beneficial to our customers, partners and Cisco overall.
  • Proficiency in team selling approach. A great teammate who loves to collaborate with sales and technical colleagues.
  • Skilled in using social media to drive campaigns, stay in touch with partners and customers and discover new opportunities.
