Meet the Team
Webex Data Analytics Platform (WAP) engineering organization is responsible for developing the big data platform at Webex. The platform forms the base on which other teams, including the WAP team, develop their analytics and data pipelines.
We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager, who will be the driving force behind our platform's evolution, working closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact programs on time and within scope. You will bring structure to ambiguity, clarity to complexity, and ensure our distributed teams operate efficiently and effectively.
Your Impact
- Lead end-to-end program management for complex, cross-functional infrastructure and platform initiatives across the organization.
- Define program scope, objectives, success criteria, and key milestones in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
- Drive alignment and coordination across multiple engineering teams, ensuring dependencies are identified and managed proactively.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups) and ensure teams adhere to best practices.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program health and progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 15+ years of experience in technical project management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data platform and distributed systems.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies; CSM, SAFe, or PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience with OKR (Objectives and Key Results) and KPI-driven program management.
- Proficiency with program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable engineering roadmaps.
- Experience coordinating engineering sprints, release planning, and cross-team dependency management.
- Familiarity with engineering productivity metrics (velocity, cycle time, lead time, deployment frequency).
- Proven ability to manage programs with budgets exceeding $1M+.
- Familiarity using AI Tools for improving productivity (CoPilot, Cursor, Codex).
