You’ll be able to ensure we’re positioning ourselves in the best way possible in the market place, work closely with our Product team on new capabilities, identify target segments, curate and share market and competitive intelligence, influence analysts, enable our sales team, and partner across the organization to drive high-impact launches.

This role is responsible for collaborating with the right teams to influence and drive improvement on the following KPIs: market share, win rate, retention, product bookings, product adoption, and opportunity conversion.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Leading the team to create compelling value propositions, positioning strategies, and messaging frameworks for Employ’s products. B2B storytelling and experience with sales messaging is a must for this role. The Director of Product Marketing ensures that our overall messaging architecture is sound and consistent with our brand, updating as needed.

  • Go-to-Market Alignment: Spearhead the development of go-to-market plans for new product launches and major product updates, in collaboration with Product, Sales and Marketing leadership. This role will align the go-to-market product architecture that describes how the organization maps its portfolio of packages, solutions, offerings to target audiences and prioritized personas.

  • Collaboration with Product Development: The Director of Product Marketing will work closely with product development teams to provide market insights, provide direction on packaging, and collaborate during the product development lifecycle.

  • Sales Enablement: This role will collaborate with our Revenue Team to equip the sales team with the necessary tools, training, and collateral to effectively sell Employ’s products. Responsibilities include evaluating messaging and content needs for sales, developing sales presentations, conducting product demos, and competitive battle cards.

  • Budget Management: In this role you will manage the product marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to activities that yield the highest return on investment.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 8+ years of proven experience in B2B marketing, with strong preference given to candidates with experience in the HR Tech space.

  • At least 5 years of product marketing experience required, or similar role.

  • 3+ years of team leadership experience required.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
