JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Data Analyst, Associate will join our Data Science & Strategy team and support analytics for key marketing initiatives across digital campaigns, audience targeting, and performance optimization. This role will work closely with internal marketing teams and external client stakeholders to translate raw data into actionable insights that drive measurable outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with foundational technical skills and a passion for data storytelling. You’ll bring an analytical mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a desire to grow your experience in campaign analytics, marketing intelligence, and business performance tracking.

This role is part of our Fiserv Consulting group, Fiserv is a global fintech and payments company with solutions for banking, global commerce, merchant aquiring, bill and payments, and point-of-sale.

Location:

Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, Michigan, Georgia, or Ohio. For individuals based in our Michigan and Illinois locations, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas, Colorado, Georgia, or Ohio, this position will be fully remote.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to analyze digital marketing performance and deliver actionable insights
  • Assist with campaign measurement strategies, including A/B testing and conversion tracking
  • Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Use SQL and data profiling techniques to extract, clean, and validate datasets
  • Present data findings through clear visuals and storytelling techniques tailored to non-technical audiences
  • Support strategic decisions by translating complex data into meaningful recommendations
  • Collaborate with strategy and client teams to identify growth opportunities and marketing optimizations
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and documentation across all analytics deliverables
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics frameworks and data processes

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • 1+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data science
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Familiarity with campaign performance metrics across paid media, email, or digital content
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data to support decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical results to business users
  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data integrity and accuracy
  • Prior exposure to SAS, R, or Python is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and tools such as Jira or Confluence is a plus

Travel Requirement:

Up to 10% travel for internal meetings, collaboration, or client support as needed.

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $55,000 to $65,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
