Director of People Strategy
We're looking for a Director of People Strategy to join us. We're at a pivotal stage of growth, scaling the business while continuing to evolve how work gets done. The Director of People Strategy plays a critical role in our success.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys creating strong people systems and seeing them work in the real world. You’re energized by bringing structure where it’s needed, momentum where it’s missing, and clarity where complexity exists. You’ll balance sound judgment with a strong bias to action, building foundations that support performance today and scale with the business over time.
What You’ll Own
People Leadership & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted HR partner to leaders and managers across the organization.
- Translate people strategy into practical programs and operating rhythms.
- Support leaders through complex people decisions with consistency and empathy.
Performance, Learning & Leadership
- Own performance management, leadership development, and talent review processes.
- Design programs that build leadership capability, role clarity, and readiness.
- Equip managers with tools for feedback, development, and performance conversations.
Talent Operations & Employee Relations
- Own outcomes across employee relations, performance support, and workforce practices.
- Ensure people practices are applied consistently and aligned with company values and legal requirements.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Be accountable for the accuracy, reliability, and delivery of compensation, benefits, and payroll.
- Lead compensation planning in partnership with Finance.
- Manage and develop team members responsible for day-to-day execution.
AI Enablement & the Future of Work
- Support AI enablement through learning, experimentation, and practical application.
- Partner with leaders to understand how AI is changing roles, skills, and ways of working.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a small People team.
- Set clear expectations and ensure high-quality execution across programs and operations.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of HR experience with strong generalist foundations.
- Experience building learning, leadership, or performance programs—not just administering them.
- Comfort partnering with leaders on complex people topics with sound judgment and empathy.
- Curiosity about how AI and emerging technologies are changing how work gets done, with a willingness to learn, experiment, and lead adoption.
- Experience in marketing, agency, consulting, or professional services environments is a plus.
