POSITION OVERVIEW

The Industrial Engineer II applies engineering techniques to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, and cost analysis to large scale projects.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support and leverage lean practice processes such as standard work and changeover.
  • Create resource management and cost optimization plan.
  • Support the launch of new products and ensure seamless integration into production by participating in launch teams.
  • Support development and implementation of new process designs.
  • Challenge change management processes, analyze risk and coordinate associated tasks.
  • Improve process stability by leveraging EBS/MES data (cycle times, scrap defect codes, part number BOM and ERP fields).
  • Maintain and improve inventory accuracy through BOM's, routings, MES/Oracle transactions, & physical cycle counts.
  • Own document control through Work Standards, Visual Aids, Bill of Materials, Control Plans, FMEA’s, and Process Flow Charts.
  • Challenge operations team to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve quality issues and ensure ergonomic layout of workstations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Oracle ERP.
  • Ability to accommodate a work schedule suitable for production needs and occasional travel.

WHAT WILL HELP

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • 1+ years of prior experience as an Industrial Engineer.
