Job Description
We are seeking a Business Operations Engineer to join our Go-To-Market team, partnering closely with Defense Account Teams to standardize and optimize sales and delivery processes, drive operational excellence, and enable consistent, scalable customer outcomes with a strong emphasis on tracking trends and lessons learned for product adoption and usage. This role focuses on creating repeatable, scalable processes, tools, and insights that empower Account Teams to deliver superior customer experiences efficiently and effectively and increase product adoption. You will design and implement operational solutions that address current delivery challenges, foster deep product adoption, and anticipate future growth needs on a rapidly expanding team.

As a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business metrics and standardized processes, you will work across delivery and sales teams to identify and resolve challenges that impede scale during a period of high growth. You are highly collaborative and skilled at building trusted relationships across diverse teams. You’re resilient and adaptable, with strong process improvement and business analytics capabilities. Most importantly, you have a passion for scaling customer and sales success outcomes across a large team.
This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA.
This role may require up to 25% travel.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Teams to identify delivery bottlenecks and design solutions to streamline customer onboarding, implementation, and ongoing product adoption
- Develop and optimize standardized, scalable processes, workflows, and playbooks to support consistent and repeatable SaaS customer delivery and Platform usage growth
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve delivery performance, product adoption, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee the capture of lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Build reporting frameworks and metrics to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer delivery and team efficiency
- Implement automation and tooling that reduce manual effort and increase delivery speed, product adoption, and customer engagement
- Establish knowledge management standards and oversee implementation
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure the successful adoption of new processes, tools, and best practices across Account Teams
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar function within a high-growth environment
- Proven experience designing and scaling operational processes that enable customer-facing teams and drive product adoption
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with SaaS business systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce, Mixpanel, JIRA, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions
- Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a software startup or other entrepreneurial environment
- Exposure to the Defense or National Security sectors
- Experience with business sales and delivery metrics, and analytics
- Consulting experience or prior advisory roles that required solving complex business problems
- Experience with automation, workflow design, and process optimization tools
- Background in systems engineering, process engineering, or operations research
- Familiarity with SaaS customer onboarding, implementation, adoption, and expansion workflows
