The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team at Hitachi Energy as an Operations Manager at our Mt Pleasant, PA production facility. This role offers you the chance to lead and optimize the operations of two production facilities, driving efficiency and excellence. You'll be at the forefront of implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring our production processes meet the highest standards of quality and cost-effectiveness. How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of two production facilities to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards are met.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor key production metrics and identify opportunities to optimize output and reduce waste.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Manage large-scale projects, including new product launches, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Drive operational efficiency to achieve revenue targets and improve cash flow performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, including senior leadership roles managing multi-site operations.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in production, planning, procurement, and project management.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgeting, and cash flow.
  • Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and operational strategy.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
