Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Communications, ATS & SCADA Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be the person responsible to assure the a project delivery, leading the appropriate O&M Requirements Management, across the overall Project Lifecycle, jointly working together with all Project Departments, coordinating and preparing the necessary documentation at both System and SubSystem level, arranging the training, ensuring the proper interface management between the Design and Build team and the O&M team, as well as assure return of experience to the Product Engineering.

The position is based in Pearl City, HI, USA.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of telecom infrastructure and/or network components to drive network efficiency and availability. Maintains network quality standards to achieve optimal levels of operation and KPI targets. Tracks and monitors network traffic and performance to ensure minimal interruption to network transmission and/or network switches. Corrects network problems effectively and in a timely manner. Drives initiatives, industrialization, and efficiencies to network facilities for improvements (i.e., enhancements, updates, upgrades, and new systems). Establishes tools and procedures to monitor network performance. A Team Leader (M2) supervises professional level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some para-professional employees. Responsibilities typically include: Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results. Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex. Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.

The salary range for this position is $104,700-$157,000. Final pay is determined by the candidate’s experience, skillset and ability level, internal equity and location.
