Are you a strategic leader with a passion for sales, forecasting, and team development? Join Hitachi Energy as our Demand Team Manager – Transformer Components and take the lead in driving order growth and building a robust pipeline for our Insulation and Components business across North America.
In this role, you’ll oversee a team of sales, business development, and technical sales professionals, managing the full sales process from opportunity identification to order booking. You’ll also lead demand planning efforts to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with operational goals.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead and manage a team of sales, business development, and technical sales professionals
Oversee tendering and proposal activities across multiple product lines
Drive the demand planning process to support accurate forecasting and inventory alignment
Analyze sales data and market trends to predict future demand and identify opportunities
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure cross-functional alignment
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency
Prepare and present regular reports on forecasts, inventory levels, and performance metrics
Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and team development
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in sales, business development, or business management, preferably in the transformer services industry
Strong understanding of transformer components, market dynamics, and customer needs
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex processes
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
