Are you a strategic sales leader ready to drive growth in a high-impact role? Join Hitachi Energy as a Direct Sales Manager and lead the charge in securing business for our transformer insulation and components portfolio across North America. Based in Alamo, TN, you’ll oversee a team of Sales and Business Development Managers, guiding the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities to closing deals.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead and mentor a team of Sales/BDMs across multiple product lines and channels

  • Oversee demand planning and ensure accurate sales forecasting

  • Analyze market trends and sales data to drive strategic decisions

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and supply chain to align planning

  • Identify and implement process improvements for forecasting and efficiency

  • Present regular performance reports and business insights

  • Build strong customer relationships and represent Hitachi Energy at key engagements

  • Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in sales, business development, or business management

  • Deep understanding of the transformer services market and customer needs

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive results

  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally is an essential part of this position. Travel up to 50%
