Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for precision and collaboration? Join Hitachi Energy as our Tendering & Proposals Manager – Transformer Components and take the lead in securing transformative business opportunities across North America.

In this role, you’ll oversee the full tender and proposal lifecycle for our transformer insulation and components portfolio—from identifying opportunities to submitting winning bids. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with clients, and ensure every proposal reflects our commitment to quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the tendering and proposals team across multiple product lines

  • Manage the full tender process, from opportunity identification to bid submission

  • Facilitate proposal development, including kickoff meetings and strategy sessions

  • Analyze tender documents and develop winning strategies

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to craft compelling proposal content

  • Coordinate data collection and ensure clarity and compliance in submissions

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

  • Oversee production and delivery of final proposal documents

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in tendering and proposal management, preferably in transformer services

  • Strong understanding of transformer services market and customer needs

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex processes

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 30%
