As a Strategic Grid Automation Sales Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of public power utilities across the Eastern U.S. This is more than a sales role—it’s a chance to lead strategic growth, build lasting partnerships, and deliver cutting-edge automation solutions that power communities.

Based in Raleigh, NC, Atlanta, GA, Cleveland, OH, or Detroit, MI, you’ll join a passionate team that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and impact. If you're a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of utility markets and a drive to make a difference, this is your opportunity to shine.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Drive Grid Automation sales growth with key public power utility accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and recovery strategies
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based customer relationships
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
  • Promote comprehensive solutions across the Grid Automation portfolio
  • Provide insights that guide customers through complex decisions
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
  • Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events and customer engagements

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in technical sales or account management
  • Proven success in utility or grid automation markets
  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive strategic outcomes
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales pipeline management

Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
