Are you passionate about solving complex challenges and driving customer satisfaction? Join Hitachi Energy as a Quality Project Manager in our North American Power Grid – Transformer (PGTR) PMO team. Based in Raleigh, NC, this role is your chance to lead impactful quality initiatives that directly enhance customer experience and strengthen our competitive edge.

You’ll be at the forefront of resolving high-impact customer concerns, collaborating across factories, and presenting unified strategies that build trust and long-term partnerships. This is more than a project management role—it’s an opportunity to shape how we deliver excellence.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead investigations into recurring and high-impact customer complaints.

  • Drive timely and effective resolution of quality issues across North America and offshore factories.

  • Coordinate and report on top quality concerns with clear, proactive communication.

  • Present unified action plans to customers, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Analyze data to identify and address systemic root causes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Support Marketing & Sales in customer briefings and presentations.

  • Champion continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance or project management.

  • Strong background in transformer manufacturing preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have work authorization to work in the U.S.
