How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and fixed assets

  • Analyze project costs and conduct variance reviews with operations teams

  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance metrics

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  • Drive process improvements using ERP systems and reporting tools

  • Collaborate on audits and internal control initiatives

  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management

  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills

  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and internal controls

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
