Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Manager- Hawaii Licensed who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Honolulu, HI.
Accountabilities:
- Candidate must become thoroughly familiar with required contractual obligations and technical aspects of the project.
- Will represent the project function of RME (Responsible Managing Employee) and represent Hitachi for licensing activities.
- A critical component to ensuring the project is performed to the standard of Hawaii license & regulations.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Required Skills:
- Experience working in major projects in Hawaii.
- Possess current license classification "A" for General Engineering and "C-13" for Electrical Contractor.
- Strong Leadership and Communication Skills.
Desired Certifications:
- License "B" for General Building and "C-48" for Structural Steel
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical background
Languages:
English Proficiency
The salary range for this position is $$93,000 - $139,500. Final pay is determined by the candidate’s experience, skillset and ability level, internal equity and location.
Note: In accordance with the DOT’s FRA and FTA programs, Hitachi’s substance screening program tests pre-employment candidates and current employees, as required for safety-sensitive positions.
