How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead supplier assessments, evaluations, and audits to ensure on-time delivery and outgoing quality.
  • Drive supplier qualification and maintain a robust, ethical, and sustainable supplier base.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute part and process qualifications.
  • Address supply disruptions and manage claims when supplier root causes are identified.
  • Resolve supplier quality issues and lead improvement initiatives through direct engagement.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance, KPIs, and quality trends.
  • Lead or support supplier performance evaluations and share transparent feedback.
  • Contribute to strategic quality initiatives and support special projects.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supplier quality, procurement, manufacturing, or quality engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems/tools (ISO standards, PPAP, FMEA, CAPA, etc.) and SAP/4HANA (Module QM).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with 8D methodology, improvement projects, and lean/6S/statistical process control.
  • Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
