Join Hitachi Energy as a Business Development Manager and help expand our presence across the Generation segment of the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) market. In this strategic role, you’ll identify new opportunities, cultivate long-term customer relationships, and champion innovative solutions from a global leader in energy technology. You’ll collaborate across functions to deliver value-driven proposals, influence market direction, and represent a trusted brand at major industry events. This role requires 25–50% travel to engage with customers and attend key industry activities.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How you’ll make an impact
Develop and execute winning business development strategies for C&I Generation markets.
Identify, qualify and advance new opportunities across natural gas, renewables, nuclear and related sectors.
Build and nurture strong, long-term customer relationships at all organizational levels.
Partner with engineering, commercial, legal and product teams to develop tailored solutions.
Conduct industry and competitive analyses to identify trends and growth opportunities.
Represent Hitachi Energy at conferences, trade shows and industry events.
Prepare and deliver segment profiles to strengthen marketing and sales initiatives.
Promote innovation and thought leadership in the C&I space.
Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales or account management in C&I markets.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver sustained revenue growth.
Strong understanding of C&I market trends, challenges and technological advancements.
Skilled communicator able to translate complex technical and commercial concepts.
Willingness and ability to travel 25–50% for customer engagements and industry events.
