About the Internship

The IT Data Platform team is seeking a motivated and curious Data Platform Intern to support the development of key components within the Project Fusion Data Platform. This role provides hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools, cloud data ecosystems, and enterprise analytics offering exposure to real business use cases and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing components of the Project Fusion Data Platform
  • Build and support ADF (Azure Data Factory) pipelines for integrating SAP and application data into the Snowflake cloud data warehouse
  • Contribute to the design and development of Power BI dashboards that transform raw datasets into actionable business insights
  • Support end-to-end data integration activities including ingestion, transformation, and quality validation
  • Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams as part of a global delivery model
  • Document processes, data flows, and analytics logic to support platform sustainability

What You Will Learn

By the end of the internship, students will gain foundational experience in:

  • Enterprise data analytics and modern ELT architecture
  • Cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Factory)
  • Building automated data pipelines and integrating SAP/application data
  • BI reporting and data storytelling through Power BI
  • Best practices in data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization
  • Working within a global onshore–offshore team environment
  • Professional communication, cross-cultural collaboration, and real-world problem solving

This experience provides a strong foundation for careers in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or data science.

Qualifications

Education

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s program (all majors considered; STEM, analytics, and technology majors preferred)
  • Open to students who have completed 1–4 years of undergraduate coursework

Internship Program Criteria

  • Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university
  • Minimum 2.5 or above GPA preferred
  • Must be able to complete internship from May–August 2026.
  • Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
  • Willingness to learn from others on the job
