Job Summary

As an Account Manager at Hitachi, Ltd., you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of key clients. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and driving the adoption of Hitachi's innovative solutions to meet their evolving needs.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and strategic priorities.
* Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, including proactive communication, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts, collaborating with internal teams to present relevant Hitachi products and services.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand Hitachi's presence within the client organization.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and ensure alignment with company objectives.
* Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and professional services teams to ensure successful project implementation and ongoing client satisfaction.
* Monitor and analyze client performance, market trends, and competitive activities to inform account strategies.
* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
* Stay up-to-date with Hitachi's product portfolio, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the technology, industrial, or enterprise solutions sector.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
* Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce), and account planning methodologies.
* Ability to strategically identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to travel as needed to client sites.
* Knowledge of Hitachi's products and services, or a strong desire to learn, is a plus.
