Location Type: The position is hybrid position requiring the incumbent to work from our Corporate Headquarters in Holland, MI, three days per week.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Manage and champion JR Automation’s (JRA) global brand strategy, including positioning, visual continuity and voice.
Serve as the brand and marketing connective tissue between JR Automation, the Hitachi Automate Division, and Hitachi corporate teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets. Oversee communications to the media including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content.
Ensure all market-facing communications adhere to JR Automation and Hitachi brand standards, governance, and expectations.
Continuously evolve the brand to reflect market dynamics, customer expectations, and innovation priorities.
Align JR Automation’s brand experience at our 22+ global facilities to ensure a consistent, impactful experience for all who visit.
Translate complex business strategies, technical concepts, and go-to-market objectives into clear, compelling, enterprise-level storytelling.
Lead the global corporate content strategy, including the development of executive, thought leadership, and corporate narratives that reinforce JR Automation’s role within the Hitachi portfolio and as a smart manufacturing and automation leader.
Manage the corporate investment and relationships with global industry and community associations/partnerships.
Seek and apply for opportunities for JR Automation to receive award recognition.
Translate insights from internal discussions, customer feedback and market dynamics into strong B2B marketing campaigns.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and collaboration across brand, communications, and enterprise marketing within JRA and Hitachi partners.
Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure high-quality output and effective budget utilization.

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or equivalent, calculated as two (2) years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study
Seven years of experience as a corporate brand and communication specialist or similar role required.
Experience working in global brand development, marketing, and/or public relations for a global, enterprise organization.
Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.
