The Opportunity
The world is rapidly moving toward more efficient and sustainable power distribution, and Hitachi Energy is at the forefront of enabling this transformation. As a Cybersecurity Vulnerability Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the digital foundations that support renewable energy technologies worldwide. Joining the Vulnerability Management team, you will help safeguard cloud and on‑premises environments against an increasingly complex threat landscape. Your work will directly contribute to the resilience, security, and continuity of the systems powering a greener future.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments across on‑premises and cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize vulnerabilities using industry‑leading security tools
- Assess the risk and potential business impact of vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to ensure timely remediation and exception handling
- Implement, configure, and maintain vulnerability scanning and management platforms
- Drive automation for vulnerability detection, response, and reporting to improve efficiency and visibility
- Produce clear and actionable vulnerability risk reports and metrics for stakeholders
- Continuously improve vulnerability management services to address evolving cyber threats
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, ideally focused on vulnerability management
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud architectures
- Hands‑on experience with common vulnerability scanning tools and large data set analysis
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills
- Preferred: Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CCSP
