Regular Test Engineer Italy/Poland

We’re looking for a Regular Test Engineer with a strong frontend focus to help us improve product quality and release with confidence.

You build and maintain Playwright-based test automation for Angular applications, strengthen quality gates and CI/CD workflows, and partner with engineers to ensure frontend behaviour is reliable across real-world and edge-case scenarios.

You will join a fully remote, diverse team of skilled people who shape the user experience of an LLM‑powered web application that transforms unstructured documents into structured data.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining Playwright‑based test automation for Angular applications
• Designing and extending frontend integration, functional and non‑functional tests
• Verifying frontend behaviour across real‑world and edge‑case scenarios
• Strengthening quality gates in CI/CD pipelines
• Combining automated and manual testing where it brings the most value
• Reviewing test automation code and collaborating closely with engineers
• Contributing to test strategies, test plans and test documentation
• Helping investigate and troubleshoot production issues related to frontend behaviour
• Actively participating in planning, reviews and demos as a quality partner

What we’re looking for

• Hands‑on experience as a Test / QA Engineer with a frontend focus
• Practical experience with Playwright and testing Angular applications
• Strong interest in test automation and reliable release processes
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and quality gates
• Understanding of the full test lifecycle and test design techniques
• Familiarity with version control systems and modern development workflows
• Experience working in Agile
• Ability to collaborate with developers and communicate findings clearly
• Comfort working in an English‑speaking, distributed team (B2+)

Role at a glance 👀✨

📍 100% remote (you must be based in Poland or Italy)
🕒 Working hours: flexible. We generally collaborate during standard daytime hours (around 9:00am–5:00pm), but you have the freedom to adjust your schedule when needed.
💰 Starting Base Salary Range: 12,000–18,650 PLN gross per month (Poland) / €34,100–€40,000 per year (Italy). The posted pay range represents the company’s good faith estimate for this role. Actual compensation may differ based on relevant experience, skills, education, and work
