THE ROLE:
This role requires strong local market knowledge of the Bangalore technology talent landscape, with a proven ability to attract and close top talent in a highly competitive hiring environment. You will need strong collaborative partnering skills, both internally and externally, to support attrition and expansion hiring while continuously building high quality talent pipelines.
Reporting to the Director People Operations and Global Recruitment, the Talent Acquisition Partner (m/f/d) joins an EMEA based team, bringing the opportunity to help shape the employee experience with additional projects to build the capacity of the People Team.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a deep understanding of the local India and Bangalore talent market, including competitor hiring trends, compensation expectations, and candidate motivations
- Successfully attract, engage, and close high-calibre candidates in a competitive technology hiring market, using creative sourcing and compelling candidate storytelling
- Partner with hiring and functional managers in a global organisation to execute local talent acquisition strategies that are aligned with the global approach of IGEL talent acquisition philosophy
- Manage full lifecycle recruitment, develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple channels, conduct background verification checks, and manage the entire candidate experience
- Manage and process internal applications and employee referrals for positions in accordance with policy and program guidelines
- Proactively build and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical and future roles, anticipating growth needs rather than reacting to vacancies
- Maintain knowledge about positions, required skills and competencies to market/recruit/source appropriate applicants and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws throughout the recruitment and hiring cycle
- Maintain all candidate tracking within the ATS and prepare regular metrics on recruiting activities to track performance against KPIs
- Manage the Workforce Planning activities for India, collaborating with the India People Business Partner
- Actively work with Global People Team colleagues toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization
- Own, design, and execute employer branding action plans to establish IGEL as an employer of choice
- Build relationships with local universities to ensure we can attract the best university graduates
- Research, suggest, and participate in local recruiting events (career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc.) and maintain a network of external contacts
- Initiate background checks for candidates prior to final offer
- Stay informed of talent trends and participate in projects that further talent acquisition capabilities, as well as enhance the employee experience
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience
- 4+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with demonstrable success hiring technology roles in the India / Bangalore market
- Knowledge of and experience using recruitment and digital tools such as ATS, electronic job boards (LinkedIn, Xing, Stepstone, Indeed), social media and the ability to proactively source and mobilize relevant candidates
- Experience/understanding of building employer brands
- Experience supporting teams in remote/global locations and conducting interviews remotely
- Experience in working within an international company and different cultures
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
