Job Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting and ensuring a positive, seamless experience for candidates and new employees. This role partners closely with hiring managers to source, attract, and hire top talent while also conducting first-day onboarding sessions, ensuring compliance with employment requirements, and helping new employees successfully transition into the company.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions.
- Post and maintain job openings on careers page, job boards, and social media channels.
- Source candidates through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple geographies.
- Collect and consolidate interview feedback to support hiring decisions.
- Extend job offers and manage candidate communications through acceptance.
- Conduct the first day onboarding experience, including required documentation, company overview, and system log-ins.
- Coordinate with HR, IT, and managers to ensure new hire readiness prior to start date.
- Maintain accurate applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruiting metrics.
- Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and other recruiting activities.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple openings at once.
- Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and new employees.
- Attention to detail in handling compliance documents and onboarding tasks.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of recruiting experience.
- Experience conducting interviews and managing candidates through the hiring process.
- Experience facilitating new hire onboarding or orientation preferred.
- Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements.
Physical Abilities Required
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel occasionally for job fairs, networking events, or campus recruiting.
Not Required but Beneficial
The following are not required but would be beneficial:
- Experience in IT/technology recruiting.
- Prior experience in a multi-location or geographically dispersed organization.
- Certification in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP).
