Job Summary

Are you a motivated sales professional with a passion for technology and a proven ability to build relationships, generate leads and close business? As an Business Development Representative at IP Pathways, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth by engaging prospects and identifying opportunities by providing tailored solutions to meet evolving business needs. To succeed in this role you must be confident in prospecting, skilled in communication and comfortable cold and warm calling, using a CRM and understanding IP Pathways portfolio of products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify and generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails and events
  • Work closely with marketing and sales leadership to develop targeted campaigns and follow up on inbound leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and position IP Pathways’ solutions effectively
  • Present and explain IT services and solutions to decision-makers using a consultative sales approach
  • Maintain KPIs set forth including call to meeting ratio and meeting to opportunity ratio.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline within the CRM ensuring accurate forecasts and timely follow-up
  • Collaborate with engineering and service delivery teams to design and deliver solutions that address customer requirements
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Provide feedback and insights to leadership on market trends, customer needs and competitive activity
  • Maintain and keep up-to-date records within CRM.

Requirements

  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technology concepts in simple customer-focused terms
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to track activities and leads through CRM system

Education and Experience

  • 1 to 4 years of sales experience is preferred
  • B2B sales experience in technology, SaaS or related industries is a plus
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
