About the Role:
As the Manager of SMB Sales, this role is crucial in driving Employ's sales success by leading and mentoring a team of inside sales representatives to meet and exceed monthly quotas and performance targets. As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will oversee the full sales process, providing hands-on support to reps, directly engaging with prospects, and assisting in negotiating and closing complex deals. You'll manage pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals, ensuring consistent above-quota performance through effective pipeline management. Your contributions will play a significant role in the growth and success of Employ's sales organization.

- Lead and mentor a team of inside sales reps to achieve monthly quotas.
- Oversee and manage the entire sales process.
- Provide hands-on support to reps, including direct engagement with prospects.
- Assist reps with quoting, negotiating, and closing complex deals by building executive-level relationships.
- Monitor and manage daily/weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals for above-quota results.
- Conduct regular one-on-one and team pipeline reviews, meetings, and training sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the SVP of Sales and leadership to enhance sales execution and strategies.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage high-performing sales talent.
- Thrive in both team-oriented and independent work environments.
What you’ll bring:
- At least 2+ years of experience in sales management or as a team lead.
- 5+ years in SaaS sales.
- Deep understanding of sales processes and execution strategies.
- Proven success as both a sales leader and an individual contributor.
- Analytical and process-driven problem-solving skills.
