Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

As a SAP Systems Analyst, you will oversee and manage the SAP infrastructure of KLA Corporation to ensure it meets future requirements and scalability, while adhering to industry-leading best practices. You will be responsible for contributing to the implementation of solutions aimed at streamlining processes, reducing redundancy, and enhancing the internal customer experience.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Oversee SAP system performance and address performance related issues in advance to reduce downtime and business disruption

  • Conduct routine health assessments of the SAP infrastructure and implement corrective actions, as necessary. Maintain system performance to meet benchmark standards

  • Offer continuous technical support and comprehensive technology training to global users, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills to effectively utilize SAP

  • Engage in discussions with various business stakeholders at KLA to understand SAP security requirements, follow the security change process, and ensure access risks are remediated or mitigated

  • Identify and address issues through root cause analysis to ensure permanent corrective action and provide on-call support during critical events and milestones

  • Ensure clear communication by translating complex technical information into understandable terms for non-technical personnel. This facilitates the successful identification of requirements and issues

Best Practice and Documentation:

  • Establish and enforce best practices for SAP documentation to ensure that other team members are aware of changes in the SAP landscape

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configuration, processes, and procedures. This involves creating detailed, organized, and current records covering all system aspects. The documentation should be accessible, understandable, and aid in efficient system management and troubleshooting

Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including IT and business units, to align SAP standard capabilities with business objectives

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Basis and Security on SAP products such as SAP ECC, SAP CRM, SAP Gateway (Fiori), SAP SRM, SAP PO/PI, SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java, SAP GRC, SAP Solution Manager, S/4Hana, E4H SAP GTS Edition for HANA, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP ILM, OpenText, SAP connector applications and SAP SAAS offering in BTP

  • Possess extensive hands-on experience with certificate upgrades and IP whitelisting, along with a thorough understanding of network and authentication concepts. Skilled in integrating third-party systems with SAP

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field is required

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience with SAP Basis and security on various SAP products, including SAP Gateway (Fiori), SAP SRM, SAP PO/PI, SAP NetWeaver Application Server, Java, SAP GRC, SAP Solution Manager, S/4Hana, E4H SAP GTS Edition for HANA, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP ILM, OpenText, SAP connector applications, and SAP SAAS offering in BTP

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Basis activities, providing technical support, managing SAP release upgrades, infrastructure upgrades, and performing OS/DB migrations

  • Technical expertise in HANA database administration – Offer expertise and assistance in high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup, recovery, security, and performance improvement

  • Possessing practical knowledge of infrastructure and network operations, along with expertise in handling critical issues within the service incident and change management processes

  • Extensive practical experience with operating systems such as Unix, Linux, and Windows, combined with a thorough understanding of the networking requirements specific to the SAP environment

  • Extensive understanding of cybersecurity processes, project management methodologies, and SAP operational governance frameworks

  • Provide on-call support during weekdays and weekends according to the defined schedule or as needed
