Senior Backend Developer

Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Design and develop backend systems that support our team's solutions
Integrate with various sensors, devices, and APIs to collect and analyze data
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Ensure that code meets performance, scalability, and security standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
Develop and maintain APIs that support the team’s solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 5 years of experience in Java backend development
Experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
PREFERRED:
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, or other building automation protocols
Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React or Angular
